We are proud to say all of our Five Star swim instructors are highly trained and receive ongoing training and support. Each instructor comes from a background of aquatics, whether that be prior teaching experience, lifeguarding, swim team, or recreational as well as backgrounds of education and fitness. Prior to leading a class, all instructors undergo training to learn the Five Star methods of instruction and lesson plans for each level. This ensures we provide a consistent experience for all of our students. Training includes reading course materials, training videos, and hands on learning. On an ongoing basis, staff receive refresher training courses to reinforce safety and teaching methods, are quizzed to ensure their knowledge, and receive observational assessments. Our goal is to have the leading swim instructors in the industry. We constantly work with our instructors to refine teaching skills and ensure quality swim instruction is taking place at each level.
