Lifeguard & CPR Certification Course

About the course:
This class will train you in lifeguarding skills through classroom learning as well as hands on practice. First aid and CPR are also components of the course. Upon successful completion of the practical and written exams, participants will receive their Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. This is a certification that is accepted nationwide and is valid for 2 years.


Age:
Participants must be 15 years of age by or before the last day of class.


Pre-Test:
Participants must pass a pre-test consisting of three components; A 300 yard continuous swim, 2 minutes of treading water, and a timed event during which you must retrieve a 10 pound brick from the depth of 8 ft.
